A.R. Arthur

Our spines bend to the gelid whip of obsidian wind during hours of repose where we slink through alleyways overcome by emerald exultation, Secluded beyond the blinkers of the voyeur, But you moan anyway as your flesh is torn (Ululate in hymns of our ancestors) and we are made one under midnight eclipse heaving into the night as your heart flutters and you sink into damp leaves overcome by your fervor, (Sink to the depths of oceans traversed by slave ships) But you are broken by our carnality, Merely a body severed from its phallus, Its damning tool of ecstasy and anomie now flaccid and insignificant, (Resurrect through soil drenched in magenta) But we collapse into the bronze of our dermis, Now one with the other, Now one with the coastal dreariness that hides our forbidden intent. (We are sirens searching for eternal damnation)
