At The Milton Review, our goal is to honor, embrace, and occasionally lampoon the spirit of John Milton. Like the great English poet himself, we aim to be steadfast in our convictions, revolutionary in our vision, and contradictory in our statements. We seek writing that challenges the status quo while inflaming the imagination (and preferably angering at least one church in the process). Send us your stories about angel sex, regicide, political malfeasance, and even the poet himself. We currently accept powerful prose, penetrating poetry, prescient polemics, and a plethora of pettiness. Oh, and art too, we guess. Please see our submission guidelines for more information.
P.S. if your poetry rhymes, go elsewhere.

Like most true artistic endeavors, The Milton Review was born in a fit of inspiration while Erez was on the toilet.
